Ministry to Children
Easter 6A
MINISTRY-TO-CHILDREN: This message is based on the gospel of John 14:15-21. It reminds us that Jesus promised the Spirit to comfort us and be with us. We might not see Him with our eyes, but we know that God is always with us, and that gives us joyful hope!

Catholic Activities
Easter 6A
Choose one of the following activities as a way to further reflect on the Sunday readings:
- Take out any symbols or pictures of your Confirmation or the Confirmation of other members of the family. Talk about what you remember about the day. Discuss how the Holy Spirit was present that day and how you continue to experience the presence of the Holy Spirit in your life today.
- Discuss with your family what actions manifest the presence of the Holy Spirit in the world today. Make a list of such actions. Talk with your family about making a conscious effort to manifest the Spirit to others throughout the week.
- Pray together the Prayer of the Holy Spirit. Teach it to those members of the family who do not know it yet:
- Come, Holy Spirit, fill the hearts of your faithful, and kindle in them the fire of your love. Send forth your Spirit and they shall be created. And you will renew the face of the earth. Amen.
